In a new development that further establishes SkillGuard for Utilities as the mobile workforce management platform for the entire sector, we are delighted to launch the system’s link with the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR). This means that any individuals with records in both systems can link them to automatically populate their SkillGuard record with their EUSR registrations.
This link, which can be created in moments, represents a significant time saving for SkillGuard administrators wanting to log these outcomes for their workforce, as well as providing total trust and confidence in the quality-assured data, coming directly from the definitive source, EUSR. Once in SkillGuard, these EUSR credentials can be checked in real-time wherever and whenever needed, along with many other aspects of the individual’s record to provide real-time authority to work.
There is no extra charge for this time-saving integration – it is simply a benefit for individuals with valid records in both systems.
The link between the two systems works like this:
- An individual has a registration on EUSR because they have completed an EUSR scheme.
- If they also have a SkillGuard for Utilities record, their employer can enter their EUSR number into SkillGuard for Utilities to bring all their registration data across from EUSR.
- Their SkillGuard for Utilities record and smartcard now include verified registration data from EUSR. The SkillGuard record can be accessed at any time by scanning a SkillGuard for Utilities card (virtual or plastic) in our secure app or via logging into the central database.
- Once the link has been established, all updates and new registrations will come across automatically.
If you have any questions about the the new link between EUSR and SkillGuard, then visit our FAQs page. If you’d like training on using the SkillGuard for Utilities system, including the EUSR integration, you can register to attend an admin training session here.
